Junior Achievement Uganda Launches the Social Equity Program (SEP) targeting 50,000 youth, in partnership with Z Zurich Foundation. As a @JA_Uganda Alumni, I was extremely excited to be invited as Keynote Speaker at the launch of this very new, dynamic and impactful program. Back in 2010, while at St. Mary’s College Kisubi, I was privileged to be part of the Newrich Media Company Team, spearheaded by the brilliant @lusibaedrine. A purely student-founded and student-led Junior Achievement Company that won the 2010 Junior Achievement National Competitions in Uganda. We got to represent the country in Ghana later in 2011 and had an experience of our lives. The level of exposure that this experience gave us, at such a young age was compared to nothing else. We were young, bold and steadfast and this is something JA made of us. The memories still give me those thrilling chills, age is indeed only a number.
