From the weekend: after picking Nikki up from Junior Music Camp, we stopped for ice cream in Sutton. Someone was doing up balloon animals, and Nikki ended up with this penguin
A little bit late, but with the summer in full swing, Xander and Sammi are off on their summer adventure - working at camp. Sammi is doing hospitality and Xander is back in the kitchen.
The Story: Last Wednesday was a 4 on 4 game. Sammi and Xander won and looked good. Xander made some big saves. He also did a great job moving the puck. So as he leaves the ice, he pushes his stick down, and we can see it is broken. Turns out it broke halfway through the game.
Happy Mother's Day to this amazing lady who not just raises some great children of her own but also is an incredible woman of influence in her community.
Possibly the last time Nikki will wear a Navy Vets; as of next season, she is going to be on the Tier 1 (A/BB) Woodstock Wildcats. Super proud of her, especially because we had not planned to try out at Tier 1, but we're encouraged to do so
Paul wrote this to the Christians in Rome, reminding them that following Jesus isn't only about belief, it’s about how we treat one another. Friendship and community are meant to show God’s love in real life, so that we can be an example to others.
When we give our efforts to God, we’re trusting Him not just with how things turn out, but with the whole journey: the growth, the struggles, and the tough moments too.
Faith is putting our goals and worries in His hands and believing He’s working even when we don’t see it yet...
Happy Birthday to this amazing young lady: a day late posting due to an unexpected issue last night. Once again, she managed to polish off a steak dinner after playing a game in Kitchener
