@DinaBelenkaya We all mourned Daniel. But most of us aren’t deeply in the chess world. Many people face tragic losses, yet no one asks the general public for money. Those who knew him and made a fortune with chess can set the fund up. Ordinary people shouldn’t be made to feel guilty.

@davidllada Kramnik and his family have received hundreds of death threats. He - probably wrongly - accused Danya of cheating in chess. But threatening his and his children’s lives in return is indefensible and shouldn’t be downplayed. I doubt Danya would have wanted this.
