But fans don't see wages, agent fees. So sometimes cheap signings are expensive. Haaland is most expensive player despite 65m fee.

@kvng_baff Fans obsess over transfer fees, but the real expense is the wages. Haaland on paper cost 65m, which even a club like Brighton can pay, but not really. So-called free Kylian only 2 or 3 clubs can afford him.

@chalk9919877 @YankeeGunner I remember Elliott freaking out over Zeni's defensive work. He was very big on Tzolis. So, their first impression is often good. On the other hand, Zeni transformed us. Zubi is the big reason why we won PL.

@afcadame @YankeeGunner My point we aren't going to do the same things. Our first choice left winger is new. People thought Eze was bought to play on the left. Time to test that as so crowded in the middle. Even buying Bruno changes how we attack and play.

@afcadame @YankeeGunner Not the same thing. If we had Marino or Kai fit for the entire season, that changes our attack. When Marino played we played our best football. Plus, we can try Eze on the left as it's so crowded in the midfield. Plus, Max a year older. Plus, Saka could be fit. Plus, Christo.
