Mein Sohn wollte unbedingt eine neue Konsole, 450 Euro, und hat mich gefragt, ob ich ihm das Geld vorstrecken kann, er würde es auch von seinem Taschengeld zurückzahlen.

Ich dachte mir, das ist eigentlich der perfekte Moment, dem Jungen mal beizubringen, wie die echte Welt funktioniert.

Also hab ich ihm einen Ratenkredit gemacht, 450 Euro, 24 Monate, 8,9 Prozent effektiv, keine Anzahlung, ganz sauber mit Vertrag, den er unterschrieben hat, und seine Mutter als Zeugin, die allerdings nur unterschrieben hat, damit endlich Ruhe ist.

Das sind 20,54 Euro im Monat, über die Laufzeit zahlt er 492,96 zurück, davon knapp 43 Euro nur Zinsen.

Bei 25 Euro Taschengeld bleiben ihm jetzt jeden Monat 4,46 Euro zum Leben, was ungefähr dem Verhältnis entspricht, das die meisten Erwachsenen mit ihrem Autokredit auch haben.

Jetzt kommt der Teil, den er nicht bedacht hat, denn irgendwann in der Laufzeit kommt garantiert ein neues Spiel raus, das er unbedingt haben muss, und dann hat er für die Konsole zwar bezahlt, aber keine 70 Euro übrig, um irgendwas drauf zu spielen.

Bei 4,46 im Monat spart er fast sechzehn Monate auf ein einziges Spiel, also ist er ziemlich genau am Ende der Kreditlaufzeit so weit, sich das erste Spiel für seine abbezahlte Konsole zu leisten.

Er meint, ich wäre der schlimmste Vater der Welt, und ich hab ihm dann gezeigt, dass die Sparkasse bei seiner Bonität 11,9 genommen hätte, da war er dann etwas ruhiger.

Sowas nennt man Finanzbildung. 🐴

Then a black kid had to take a dump. And his mother told him to just do it in the ball pit because I dunno, dumbass ghetto trash. All the balls had to be thrown away, the playplace had to be closed, professionally disinfected at enormous expense per regulation, and basically all the revenue increase for that year was eaten up by one dumbass and the playplace had to be blocked off, which irritated customers who saw it and then couldn't bring their kids inside. Many complained. about false advertising, etc.

A cool thing became a drag and a negative.

I get why these went away. It sucks, it really fucking sucks, but we can't have nice things when welfare queens tell their kids to take a shit in the playground.
