His expression moves to worry, watching him move back towards the bed.
" .... "
He stared at them as he looked away.
" I am fine Jason "
As he got up the axolotls tail was touched by the mans skin. It was cold.
Almost lifeless?
"That doesn't sound like a, 'your actually fine', kind of fine..."
Jason looked the deer over. Trying to find what was up.
"Are you sure, Alix?" His face was soft enough, yet still carried a bit of a stern look. He may be an Axolcicle, but he still cared about his friend.
" I'm fine Jason.. "
He stood up as he sat down on the bed, crossing his legs.
It's been awhile since Alix had actually sat and talked with Jason. - Especially now that ..
His body was different.
His mates told him to make sure to let people who he trusts know about the body. Alix always used magic to mask the smell and barely touched people.
The lotl took the blanket, leaning forward and wrapped it around himself, still shivering, but at least will be warming up.
"Thank you, Alix." He looked over at Alix with a soft smile, seeing him grab at his chest.
"Hey, you okay? You look like something's bothering you."
He summoned a blanket, as he gave it to him.
" I apologize.. "
Quickly pulling his hand back as he placed it against his own chest. The Earthy smell was more pungent now that the deer moved.
He shivered at the deer's touch, his body temp having fallen a bit, to where he shivering.
"Heh... Is it cold in here, or is it just me?"
He coiled his tail around himself.
"D-do you have a spare blanket? I-I would go back to my heating r-rock, but no power."
He did feel bad.. Covering himself with the blankets as he slid off the bed. Sitting down before him as the deer reached over gently.
" Hey.. It's okay.. don't worry about it.. "
As Alix touched his arm, Jason felt a sense of coldness, extreme coldness.
"I'm alright... For as good as I am as a doc, I can't see worth shit in the dark, and with the power out... I just kinda found my way in here..."
Jason pulled his knees up to his chest.
"I didn't mean to startle you like that..."
" Jason!? "
He quickly pulled his hand away as his hand formed back to normal, carefully moving closer as he glided his legs along the edge of the bed. His body, being covered by the blanket as his ears lower.
" I-.. Are you alright..? I'm so sorry. "

There was an earthy smell in the air.
He heard the growling, turning over and seeing the deer, looming over him. His eyes shot open, falling out of the bed, with a thud. He pushed himself up against the wall.
"I-I'm sorry, Alix. I didn't know this was your room, honest." He stammered.

He had woken up, sitting up slowly as he felt someone in the bed with him. His ears flatten as his hand turning into a large glave, growling. Covering himself with the sheets as he flew his hand forward..
