Why is LogX building a consumer super-app chain?

Some backstory - In the depths of the bear market last year, it was unclear which web3 use case would succeed, there was a lot of uncertainty after the FTX, Terra, and other collapses.

People who had conviction in web3 felt infra was the best place to invest. This led to many companies building in the infrastructure space. Some infra was essential, but in general it diverted focus from consumer apps.

Now that the infra bets have played out, there is suddenly a lot of interest around consumer crypto apps.

Fundamentally, a killer consumer app was always the key to 10x industry growth.

We launched LogX in the last bear market, and since then have deeply focused on mass consumer adoption:

- 162,000 wallets have already used LogX V1
- 602,432 wallets have tried the LogX Network Testnet

LogX Network is an attempt to bring innovative web3 use cases under one hub with an iOS like experience. The products feels precisely the same as a CEX with no gas fees, no wallet popup, no wait-time, in short no on-chain baggage.

Some of these features are only possible because we built our own infrastructure and chain.

In the last 24 hours, 56,556 wallets used LogX network doing 120,000+ transactions. TPS tracking is good but this is the only metrics that matters.

LogX network is a layer 2 powered by Arbitrum Orbit stack, but as things evolve, I see a need for a custom layer 1 to further improve performance (more on this later). We will let the chain throttle first before we build more infra.

Until then, the focus is to bring the next 10 million users to web3.
