You make a pie.
You want to give a slice of the pie to a Mexican of color who cleans your toilet, and you want to eat a slice of the pie yourself.
Elon Musk comes along and takes all the pie and leaves you only with crumbs.

Nobody is hoarding anything. Elon doesn't have a trillion dollars. The value is in shares of Space X. Basically he owns a percentage of the company. It's not money.

That's not true. The government stepped in and forced child care workers to be licensed, and their facilities to be inspected. You couldn't just have a mom looking after a couple of neighbor kids. You had to create a business which was expensive.
Half of all families live in child care deserts.

Maybe 80% of liberals want to tax the rich, but Conservatives know their jobs, their computers, their cars and other things come from billionaires.

If Elon Musk just gave away his trillion, he could end hunger and poverty in Africa, just like Band Aid and Live Aid did.
I doubt anyone lost their job because of racism. And I doubt someone is homeless because they lost their job. You get six months of unemployment and in most states you can apply for benefits. More likely is he's homeless because he spent all his money on drugs.
So there's a homeless man on the street. He lost his job because of racism, and his wife divorced him because he lost his job.
Now the only way he can cope with the pain and hunger is by injecting a little ketamine.
Elon walks by. Elon has $1 trillion. In his bank account.
The homeless man says to Elon "please sir give me $10 so I can buy clean needles for my ketamine".
Elon just laughs and carries on walking. All he has to do is go to a cash machine and withdraw $10 from the $1 trillion, but he won't.
That is the kind of man we are dealing with right now.
