@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews Thanks Tom, its the fact that customer information is nil. Very disjointed service when the provider of the service cannot inform customers of delays or cancellations, What is the App for ? Dont ask us to check the app for everything if it says nothing. Rant over !
@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews Hi Tom, the stop number is 1184, bus counted down to departure then dissapeared, agitated customers told by next driver that he was not departing until 17.05, frustrating to rush towards a scheduled arrival. Iโm an annual ticket holder but regularly find myself in this position
@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews Iโll check with a decibel meter to test the actual decibels being output over the next few journies and post back here next week.
@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews Thank You, Route 42, I boarded at stop 4331 at 08.45. It is every day, inbound and outbound journeys, here is a snapshot of decibel levels, i can post the actual recordings if you prefer ? Please let me know.
@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews I wonder if anybody from TFI actially travels on buses, I have a yearly LEAP subscription but the uncomfortably loud notifications make the journey unbearable, Iโm considering returning to driving to work for my own health. Get on a bus please and check before you comment please.
@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews I fully understand the need for any visually impared person to be informed but it does not need to be at such a high volume, check bus cameras at customer reactions, it is set so high as to be almost at a dangerous level. I wear noise cancelling earphones to dull the volume.
@dublinbusnews@Dublinbususers could anybody answer why the announcements on the OLD leaking COLD Dublin buses are at a level that hurrts your ears making it impossible to relax ? Also, the Cold fan is always on full blast just in case you get comfortable..just asking !
@johncreedon Ah John, I remember a great day recording Damien at home during Covid. He very graciously recorded 3 fabulous somhs for our staff who were all wfh. Made the hairs stand up on my neck being so close to such a powerful voice. Math an Fear. Noel Stafford
@TransportForIr1 Thank you for the very comprehensive telephone menu with 7 options, unfortunately option 7 plays music immediately, no voice whatsoever and then disconnects after a couple of minutes. Is this intentional ? How do we contact you ?
@sciencegirl IMO..Nothing to do with diet etc. fully believe it is down to early life care, breast fed people tend to have more resilience to colds / flu type of ilness and minor infections, later in life, diet is important to maintain good health
@SuperValuMalah Hi, I noticed that you also own Talbot St SV. Iโve noticed a few differences as I use both shops, TS Daily, Malahide Weekly. This may sound silly but a can of Coca Cola is โฌ1.75 in TS and โฌ1.60 in Malahide. I could go on, could you explain please
@TFIupdates@dublinbusnews Thank You for your speedy response, Iโll continue to await improvements as I have mentioned this on regular occasions without any changes yet. The older buses without the back exit are particularly bad. Is it the buses perhaps ?
@dublinbusnews Iโve asked drivers constantly to stop billowing freezing air into the bus only to be told they didnโt realise this. Please, could you make the environment on the buses less cold than outside ? Itโs a basic check Iโm sure for a driver. Thank You,
