@HardBoiledKaiju I preferred the 2014 film tbh, I liked that it was a bit more suspenseful and horror-lite.

The marvel quips of KotM was a bit too much for me.

I think the power of Lynch is shown in the fact that people say something is "Lynchian" much like "Kafkaesque", even when they haven't experienced Lynch's art directly. Yet, they know exactly what it means because his art has permeated our culture and that's wonderful.
