This is true and the people getting offended by it are only proving the point.
Having a peculiar personality or unusual expectations makes finding a match more difficult. It's not an insult. But being unaware and even unwilling to consider that you might have them is off-putting.

Unpopular opinion... but when I meet people over 35 with no relationship who claim that they've been trying to date for marriage for years... it's usually pretty obvious that it has nothing to do with their age and everything to do with their personality.
