Got a call about me winning a voucher today. Didn’t share much because it’s seemed to good to be true.I did some light research after the call and tried calling Mount Amanzi- their number doesn’t work. Came across some reviews on similar calls. Anyways be safe.

Scam alert: Resorts | Mount Amanzi, Hartbeespoort. They want to know whether you are single or married. The best part: the voucher cannot be emailed. You and your partner can come and collect the voucher this Thursday. They ask about your age, children (are they under 18?)

The accommodation is for 4 people, everything is provided. They claim our contact details were given to them by either people we know who must have visited the place before or third parties “selling” our contact details. Beware! South Africa. Don't just accept a promotional holiday vouchers especially those that you must drive miles to collect - no matter what.

I couldn't help imagining it... a train from Kisoro to Kampala, Gulu to Kampala, one day, in this lifetime hopefully.

Anyway, let me tell you guys about the actual experience, Nairobi to Mombasa is nearly 500km, in about 5 hours.

The train cuts straight through Tsavo, which means and I am not exaggerating, you can spot Elephants from your window seat.

A commute that doubles as a game drive.

The coaches are clean, the seats, I mean check the pics🙌, the whole thing runs on time.

They call it the Madaraka Express, I am going to call it a preview... of what East Africa could be.
