Yes, the DNA test proved the husband is the biological father. The baby's much darker skin is due to the mom's ancestry carrying genes for darker pigmentation that expressed strongly here. Skin color is polygenic and can produce big surprises even when both parents test as the parents. Genetics doesn't always follow simple expectations.
