Fluf World initially looked like a coordinated bid by a network of crypto OGs, but as unique ownership grows, that's matters less.
I'm watching the unique owner numbers and not the floor price rn.
This seems like a good time to pick up DeFi protocols that have been building and finding PMF through the mini-bear. E.g. @RariCapital, @visorfinance, @sushiswap
It also seems like perfectly good time to just hold ETH2x-FLI.
Not financial advice. I like the risk-reward here.
@liminalspread@dcinvestor Fair enough. I think the analogous comp is that new primitives (e.g. uniswap) are to historic pieces (e.g. ringers), while avatar projects are to [___]swap spam on BSC. I suspect DC thinks a lot of alts are also going to zero in the long-run.
@dcinvestor@liminalspread The thing about avatar projects is that they're all derivative from punks (and BAYC to a lesser extent). So why would any reasonable amount of capital flow to them when the whole space is accretive to the top project w/ limited downside risk?
@dcinvestor Yeah long-run (more likely medium-run) value looks like:
- top 0.1% (punks etc.); exponential growth from attracting new capital
- top 5%; fun projects that sustain a community but limited growth as not attractive to new capital
- bottom ~95%; zero liquidity/zero community
@Zeneca_33@j1mmyeth I did the exact same thing. Looked kinda cool and aped without any due diligence. Hopefully there's enough of us to make a community out of it.
