I’ve seen a few mentions of rail. I agree but I think it should come after port on this list.
Power first.
Fiber second.
Cement factory third.
Port fourth.
Rail fifth.
What is the most critical infrastructure needed in the South East? To me it’s not ports. It’s power.
What Geometric/Aba Power built in Aba needs to be done in almost every major city in the South East. We need IPPs, transmission infrastructure and complete electrification of the whole region.
Second is fiber optic infra.
After that, the next is a cement factory.
And then ports.
From the quality of the album to the numbers, everything abt this project screams motion🥶🥶🥶 Evado doing this in just 3months is crazy, glad his consistency paid off🥹💙
One of the most surprising things you'll read is that diesel generators supply power to data centres in Nigeria during power outages.
Like, how are they making money?
Niger and Taraba States should host data cities powered by hydro energy, with the entire oil belt undertaking similar data centre projects powered by gas.
Data centres need gas. Nigeria has plenty of gas, yet we burn it away.
And we're seeking foreign investment? Plus borrowing $5 billion from the UAE, which profits from data centres powered by the same fossil fuels that Nigeria wastes?
We're seeing small-scale gas generation, like Agrego installing a 5 MW gas power generator for Nigeria's largest data centre, operated by MTN, in Lagos.
Nigeria needs more large-scale projects like this to attract the foreign data centres hungry for power, which will bring in FDI and jobs.
As I mentioned, the real issue isn't corruption but the lack of strategic economic planning and imagination

You are unlikely to ever be as rich as Dangote, and you have already missed the boat to fame as either an athlete or an artiste. But you have gained immortality by your efforts in pursuit of a sustainable and relevant educational system for the youthful victims of Nigerian..👏🏿
UPDATE: The 10km underground drainage tunnel in Aba, Abia State by Brass Construction is nearing completion.
This tunnel runs from Abayi Nchokoro through Ohanku, Obohia areas to Aba River, targeting flood-prone zones like Ndiegoro.
The aim is to solve perennial flooding by channeling stormwater efficiently from these areas.
This is about the 5th underground drainage tunnel of such magnitude/length that has been built in Aba in the last 3 years to manage flooding in the city.
