I saw this interview 2 years ago - as most of you did and decided to get mad yesterday - and this is EXACTLY what I understood her words to mean. False equivalencies to saying she blames victims of rape and sexual assault are out of line. Furthermore, you don’t know her history.

But also, I have watched this woman’s interviews closely for many years. I know the content of her character, and she has consistently shown me who she is. You can change the narrative of a short video clip if you wish, but I know better.
