The AIDS epidemic is not over. Women, adolescent girls, and key populations across Africa continue to face new infections, stigma, and shrinking prevention resources.
#ProtectUNAIDS#AIDSIsNotOver#NoSunsetting
As global leaders convene at the PCB in Brazil, AWPCAB strongly condemns any attempt to sunset UNAIDS. The AIDS epidemic is not over. Dismantling UNAIDS now would endanger lives, weaken accountability and silence communities. #NoSunsetting until the job is done.

DAY TWO:
At the #SAAIDS2025 plenary, APHA ED stressed: HIV prevention for AGYW must be a national priority, led by local govt & with AGYW at the center of advocacy.
Linking prevention to skills & income projects reduces vulnerability & dependency.

Sexual health is not just about staying healthy. It’s about dignity, equality, & bodily autonomy.
The #ChoiceManifesto is about a girl’s or woman’s ability—her right!—to make decisions about her own body. It's about power & choice.
For @UNAIDS, we support the Choice Manifesto because we simply must expand #HIVprevention choices for women.
