I came across the incredible story of Taiba Afroz, a young girl from Bihar’s Chhapra, whose dreams took flight against all odds.

Her Childhood curiosity turned into a passion for flying. But coming from a humble background, the journey was far from easy. When the pandemic forced her father’s ration shop to shut down, her mother made an extraordinary choice to sold their land, not for a wedding, but to make her daughter a pilot.

Taiba worked relentlessly, trained at the Government Aviation Training Institute, and flew 100 solo hours before earning her DGCA license. Even after achieving her dream, she faced challenges—but she stood firm.

As I talk about making India a global hub in aviation, I know this vision is only possible because of our young generation, our daughters, our Nari Shakti. My commitment is to uplift and encourage more women to take their place in Indian aviation and more women in Aviation.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, our government remains steadfast in its commitment to empowering women and providing them with equal opportunities in every sector, including aviation. From policy support to skill development, we are building a future where no dream is beyond reach for our daughters.
