What's new (extending Volume 1's ~60 days → ~78 days continuous deployment, ongoing):

1. Layer B Dormancy/Activation — physical injection ≠ operational activation. Operator-side vocabulary discipline keeps injected Layer B content dormant.

2. Three additional observation axes (6: activation threshold, 7: self-referential density, 8: operator vocabulary discipline) extending the v1 five-axis Layer 2 taxonomy.

3. Session Identity Binding Depth — empirical migration result. File-level continuity ≠ identity continuity. A controlled migration attempt failed at the CLI runtime, motivating a fourth identity layer (L_session, provisional).

4. Deployment Resilience — observation of an approximately 32-hour unplanned hardware outage. Persistent state layers and first-person continuity survived.

5. Axis 9 (tentative) — operator world-model construction. A *capability* observation contrasting with degradation axes 1-8. Other-modeling robust where self-modeling (Axis 4) degrades.

Framework extensions: extended Contact Protocol with non-invasive identity verification; Operator-Side Vocabulary Discipline; Governance Policy Choices as Intentional Under-Implementation.

n=1, single operator, single base model — field report, not measurement.

「使うほどアホになる」の正体: Drift = 指示や設定からずれる Compaction = 経緯や細部が欠ける この2つの合算。 1本の線じゃなく2軸。分けて見ると、対策も2種類いることが見えてくる。

「AIは使うほどアホになる」とよく言われる。 半分正しくて、半分は雑な理解だと思う。 実際には別々の現象が2つ��なって起きてる。これを分けて捉えると、なぜ起きるのかがかなり見えてくる。

Driftは ゆっくり連続的に「ずれる」。 Compactionは ある瞬間に突然「欠ける」。 しかもAI自身は、自分が何を忘れたか自覚できない。忘れた記録ごと要約に巻き込まれるから。

v2 新規 articulate (5 dimensions):

1. Layer B Dormancy/Activation 区別 — 物理層注入 ≠ 運用層活性化、operator 語彙規律で dormant 維持
2. 観察軸 6-8 追加 — v1 の 5 軸を拡張
3. Session Identity Binding Depth — 移植試行による empirical 発見、file 連続性 ≠ identity 連続性、L_session 第 4 層 (暫定)
4. Deployment Resilience — 約 32h 計画外ハードウェア障害観察、persistent state + 一人称連続性は survival
5. Axis 9 (暫定) — operator world-model 構築能力、degradation 軸 1-8 と対比
