Honestly, @davido deserves all the banter!

Banter is one of the taxes you pay for being famous lolz.

I mean, the guy wasn't supposed to abandon his father's multibillion Naira empire to hop from one 'deku mangolo studio' to another, was he?

Like those other billionaire sons, he's supposed to be heading a company or sitting as an executive director at one of his dad's businesses. But he picked music. He embraced the rugged, unpredictable life of an artist. A big risk.

Some said he doesn't have the voice of a nightingale. But no one can deny he's got the tunes. The dude worked so hard like he's from a broke family. When he sang "Ema Damiduro," I was like, "Omo Baba Olowo ni elei Bai." Davido paid his dues to be where he is today. He delivered hit after hit.

The accolades that followed weren't just awards; they were a collective embrace by a world recognizing not just his talent, but his tenacity. Global dominance? Yes, because he's not just 001 for a catchy name; he's 001 for being the pioneer who dared to venture beyond the known, to claim the heart of music lovers worldwide.

And frankly, I think that's what irks many others. He's got it all, and he's got what many others don't – a heart. It takes an extremely kind person to be vulnerable. Before you say anything good about him, people are quick to pull out a video of him kneeling.

That's a private moment, a moment he decided to trust someone unworthy of it. And it's been turned into the theme of every gossip like he's committed some heinous crime. See, Davido didn't kill anyone; if anything, he's killing it in the game.

Going hard for all, dipping his hands into as many businesses as possible because he wants to make things happen for himself, as he's been doing. Y'all can go ahead lying to yourselves. But one thing you can't say is that he became wealthy because of his dad. No. His dad doesn't own a record label.

Neither did he arm twist anyone to sign him on during his upcoming days that catapulted him onto the global scene. If anything, Davido's case could have been a classic tale of a prodigal son. If he had failed. But that's not the case; dude made it. And he made it big.

Like @Bonang would say, people will talk about you because when they talk about themselves, no one really listens.

Shout out to the 30BG all over the world. You all showed what family really is. In you, Davido got a mega family, not just fans – the dream of any celebrity.

Having an army who goes all out for you every day, all day. And let's not forget, Davido is more than just music; he's a walking billboard. He hawks his clients' products everywhere he goes.

No resting for this multi-hyphenate; he ensures every signature he appends to any deal is worth the price they paid him. He hawks their products as though they are his---a true entrepreneur in the music industry, turning every moment into a brand opportunity.

Davido, not just a musician but a mogul with an empire built on beats and business savvy!
