@lifeofbi Oh wow!! So hard to imagine them shutting down. They were doing so well a few years ago that they famously said they fired many of their wholesale customers.
@stephsmithio I have same credit limit since high school and recently tried to increase the limit but was straight-out rejected even though my income has significantly increased over the years.
@wrightadam@michelletandler @unionstreetsf I agree with you and I liked the Singapore model of paying public servants competitively. But the fact of the matter is the city is overpaying a bunch of Incompetent people. Hence there is a huge exodus out of California for a precise reason and why we lost a congressional seat
@BusinessFamous Same sold at 0.7 I have quite a significant position as I bought when it was below 0.1. Sucking my thumb looking at the price chart the past few days. Surprised that the price has been somewhat stable compared to the previous all time high.
@jackbaigo @awilkinson@tanayj Also having the discipline as well. Or every startup will approach asking to do the work for equity. Also, I think they want to have a more clear client relation. I think they do invest in some of the clients but in a separate transaction rather than doing work for equity.
@jackbaigo @awilkinson@tanayj I think so but Andrew's approach was to charge the work rather than take equity which he mentioned he regret it a little bit in Slack's case as well. But I think his approach is right considering the probability of a startup's succeeding and going public.
@EcomBizTips @nevmed Also to point out Shopify is more qualitative rather than quantitive. They offer you a free 30-day trial and that's it. There is no free version and the starting price is around $29. While most of the WordPress sites are free or at $5-9 /month.
@AndrewLadouceu8 @theSamParr Also to point out plugins have limited spots. While average iPhone users have hundreds of apps. Chrome can only handle 4-6 at max before it significantly slows down your browsing experience. Still enormous opportunity. Honey really opened up the possibility.
@PavaLapere@sweatystartup You can open an account with very little to no money. I remember opening my bank account back in Highschool with a meager sum of $80. I think both of you are correct through your respective point of view.
@Invending_ @cadeinvests@BusinessFamous They really screwed up with communication during the Reddit frenzy and really pissed of core customers. A lot of the RH customers are looking for an alternative option but there really is none. Traditional firms are too expensive and difficult and smaller ones are too small.
