Springtime is here! Please remember the State of IL has closed all playgrounds until April 30 due to COVID-19 safety concerns. Until then, please play in our open park spaces, walk, run, or bike on our trails - PLEASE practice social distancing to reduce everyone's exposure.
What does a shelter-in-place mean for Normal Parks? Trails and parks are still open, while playgrounds are CLOSED until further notice.
Please be conscientious of the minimum six-feet social distancing and use proper personal hygiene before and during use.
The Governor just issued a shelter-in-place order for the State of Illinois. The order takes effect 3/21 at 5pm and remains in effect through 4/7.
Please note the municipal services will not be interrupted by this order. Curbside waste collection...
