Let's hope that retrospectively all parties now sack their mps who broke the rules instead of smacking their wrists or would that weaken their numbers too much .Or is is one rule for one
I’m no fan of Cummings but can someone actually show me any proof he broke the rules because from what I’ve seen/heard it was within the guidance.
This media witch hunt actually makes me think the PM should keep him in place to make a clear point media aren’t running things.
This country makes me sick sometimes.. let’s get a bloke sacked for doing what he thought was right, but let’s not call for the sacking of an MP who knew about young girls being raped.
Here’s the media case against Dom Cummings. No photographic evidence, the reports are based on the recent testimonies of two ‘eyewitnesses’.
(1) 70-year-old retired teacher Robin Lees said he remembered seeing someone like Cummings with his family walking by the River Tees (1/2)
Stephen Kinnock MP & his wife drive from Soth WAles to London to give EU Kinnock senior a birthday cake & that's OK.
Cummins drives to his parents so his 4 year old son can be looked after safely by those he knows & Cummins should resign.
Is the Mad Hatter in charge?
Dominic Cummings and his wife both went down with Coronavirus. They took steps to ensure their young son could be cared for by family in extremis. They isolated in a separate home throughout and food was brought to their door. I know politics is politics, but they are human too.
Well looks like they’re going to fight this one hard... A close friend of Cummings gets in touch: ‘Dom isn’t remotely bothered by this story... There is zero chance of him resigning.’
With Dominic Cummings and his wife unwell, it is clear they had good medical reasons to isolate at their parents so their children could be looked after. It would be a risk to their children not to do that. There is absolutely no reason for him to resign.
1. Finally, official statement from No 10 ... ‘Owing to his wife being infected with suspected Coronavirus and the high likelihood that he would himself become unwell, it was essential for Dominic Cummings to ensure his young child could be properly cared for.’ ...
This Dominic Cummings story, I'm hearing he was dropping his child off at his parents because he is poorly. In his defence, if I was poorly, the only person I'd want to leave my daughter with for 7 days is my parents. They're also the only ppl she'd be willing to be left with...
They were obviously looking at if they had to go into hospital if it had developed.I admire your apology.Have you noticed the majority is being led by the english hating snp who cant manage their coviusbudget and needs help
So it turns out I was too quick to judge and so I apologise to Dominic Cummings and his partner. Getting their child to a safe place was clearly the right thing to do. I won't be a coward and delete my mistake. I'll take the justified criticism for my knee jerk reaction. Sorry!
Who else that you can trust to look at children if you had to be hospitalised. Are all the people on Cummings back promoting none childs safety ,get real and hope it never happens to them.
BBC News - Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings' lockdown trip 'was essential', says No 10 https://t.co/R4plsyyrGx So the guardian and mirror who broke the story and implied last night he’d moved in with his 70 year old parents who were vulnerable were.....lying.
Cummings had CV. So did his partner. They had a young kid to look after. Stephen Kinnock went to see hs poor multi millionaire parents. Last time I looked he was still an MP. So please Labour....cut the hypocrisy.
Both sick and two children to look after so if grandparents are our of the question which stranger or relative looks after the kids.Never.mind the job shite witchhunts but commonsense needs to prevail
