@StraightFlorida You want old Florida, go to The Old Fish House in Grant on US1, right on the water, the marina is right there. Sometimes you get the smell of fuel from a boat filling up but that just adds to the experience. Redfish, Mahi, Grouper, Tripletail, all of it. Ask for what's fresh.
@WallStreetApes Reminds me of the Coqui frogs in Puerto Rico, although they are much higher pitched. We had a little house with only aluminum shutters, like jalousie windows but not glass, aluminum. So zero noise blocking. We had to watch our little TV sharing wired earbuds so we could hear it.
@dogwoodblooms@smcroasters I saw that article but I didn't read it. I was too busy dunking my black licorice into my black coffee and daydreaming about darkness.
@LegalNewsline Isn't it funny that discrimination has been solved by more discrimination? It's different discrimination, so it's OK, right? No, it's the exact same thing.
@ZeekArkham I keep thinking about this. It's not about race, it's about street culture. I was at a regular hangout the other day (hotel bar) & it was full of ghetto rats, having fun, but very loud & making it impossible to get service. I don't need that; we left. It's not race, it's culture.
