Today I explained “revolution” in science is different than in SS. I said, “in here, it means how we orbit the sun, but in SS it means how we fought a war to not be British.” Then a student said “I’m glad we’re not British. I don’t like crumpets.” When I tell you I ugly cackled.

On the final day of our #Olympics #internship, we split the class into two teams and competed in Jiant Jenga for the gold! My athletes fought valiantly, but in the end, Coach Valenzuela and her Olympians were victorious. It was the perfect way to end the unit.

We started #physics by diving into our #olympics #internship. Students completed a QR scavenger hunt to learn Olympic trivia and got to explore the Olympic Village (our classroom/hallway). Some students could name over 50 country flags! @lcvalenzuela #teachbetter #teachfurther
