NCEC recently award 7 college scholarships totaling $4,000 for the 2020-2021 school year! Maria Leonard, a graduating senior at Rolette High School, is the top overall applicant and receives a $1,000 scholarship. Maria is the daughter of Amy Jo and Brian Leonard. Congratulations!

October is Co-op Month! Please join us Oct. 8th as we celebrate Co-op Month with some of our fellow cooperatives. We're serving a free meal from 3-6 p.m. at the Bottineau Armory. We'll have prizes, too, plus a $250 cash drawing!
NCEC has made another donation from our Operation Round Up program! The Upham American Legion Post received $750 to help redo the sidewalk to the building, making the building handicap accessible. A total of $4,535 was awarded in donations this week.
NCEC's Operation Round Up program recently made six donations totaling $4,435. Included was a $535 donation to the city of Willow City to help purchase new playground equipment at the city park. The city hopes to have the equipment installed this fall.

RAM Utilities is currently in the Lansford area testing power poles for NCEC. RAM will test about 4,500 poles in the next month or so. Testing poles helps identify "problem" poles and reduces the chance of future power outages.
