Yesterday, our Debate Mate team won 3 out of their 4 debates at Birmingham University. As well as this, they have ranked 7th nationally, which means we will be attending the Debate Mate final at the Houses of Parliament! A huge congratulations! 👏 @VicAcademies@NorthManorAcad
Thank you to @BirCopAcad and @DevonshireInf for two fantastic Christmas performances today. Some real talent on show and wonderful to be able to join you. #BeTheBestYouCanBe
PCSO Rees had a lovely visit to the Reception children at Northfield Manor Academy School.
Best question ever asked by a child is...Do the Police really like doughnuts?? 🍩🍩
@NorthManorAcad
Thanks to Mrs Sheldon and Mrs Wilde for organising our Macmillan coffee morning today @NorthManorAcad@VicAcademies Thanks also to the kitchen for the delicious cakes. @macmillancoffee
We’ve completed our latest Ofsted at Northfield Manor. We all know it’s high stakes and it matters. I’m extremely proud of the Northfield team for rising to the challenge and showing how far we’ve come and what we’ve achieved together. #bethebestyoucanbe
@NorthManorAcad@NorthfieldHT@afreemanNMPA@MichaelRosenYes The children in Rainbow Group are learning about Michael Rosen, so it was inevitable that we make a chocolate cake. Well done, guys! Thank you Michael Rosen for the inspiration.
Art allows kids to explore the world and the depths of their imaginations from their own homes. It's easily linked to maths, literacy, science and an endless array of topics and themes. It doesn't require fancy materials.

As we approach half term, I want to thank the Birmingham schools that have engaged with us through lockdown 3. Remember that you and your pupils can access our FREE @SFE_MS Online Learning Platform with 850 videos to support home learning. Forgot your password? Get in touch.
Rather than focusing on extending the school day, we should focus on improving teachers' knowledge to ensure that the time pupils spend in school is even more effective. This is the only way I can see 'catch up' working and it obviously has significant long-term benefits.
So proud of everyone. Things aren’t easy, but we know how hard every member of our @VicAcademies family is working. Don’t stress or worry, just do the best you can. #togetherwearestronger
Our cleaners are brilliant - a vital part of the team. A big shout out for all cleaners everywhere and the important job they play in minimising the spread of infection. Often unseen and under appreciated - shouldn’t be.
This is:
a) Not true. Both can be having a hard time. Maybe he's enjoying giving *you* a hard time
b) Not useful. Telling a struggling, fearful, bullied teacher they're 'not having a hard time' is world-class gaslighting.
c) Not practical. Maybe the teacher needs help, not yoga
