#TheWho
You Better You Bet
@AngryMike24@BradGalli 11th round draft pick. That’s who he is.
Dodgers hyped him up and repackaged him but scouts saw him as an 11th round draft pick by the Cubs.
@ThisIsDINOCOSTA This was also at a time when only the Yankees would go above and beyond payroll and the Yankee aura which coincided with no cell phones and no social media. Once the curtain was pulled back the aura was gone, no historic stadium and no willingness to go above the rest
@CMacWFAN I don’t think Yanks would overpay for either catcher. But Liam Hicks would be a great pickup for yanks because you have him for next 4-5 years too
@NightStranger22@CMacWFAN Well. I don’t think he’s a clown. I just think his opinion is wrong. This is about sports not real life. When we go home from work we are all regular people trying to be a Dad or Husband or just figure out life as it goes.
@Winnibet@CMacWFAN That’s the weakest return for him. Yankees gave up 6-7 guys for Soto. Why because they knew they had a chance to sign him. No team giving up 3 top prospects for a guy they know isn’t signing with them. That’s why the dodgers mess needs to be fixed with deferred money crap
@MetsSouthFla Nailed it Diane as always.
No team is giving up top prospects knowing he wanted to sign with the team with where he is from. This was where he wanted to go.
@NYMMetsfanRay@NYNJHarper No they don’t. Yankees don’t. They make playoffs every year. Only different is they hit on 1 prospect who was a generational talent in judge
