Sibiya has been moved to Kgosi Mampuru and held in detention because of threats that went out to witnesses. These threats include a voice-note that went out to a witness at 2pm today. Sibiya will appear in court for a bail application on the 29th of September 2026. A shocking charge of trafficking has been added because he has allegedly been operating within a cabal that was trafficking girls. It goes without saying that there will be more upcoming arrests as we await more details about this cabal. Dark days ahead for the ANC.
As hard as this is for witnesses, I hope they won't be deterred by these threats, and I hope that for once the @NPA_Prosecutes will do their jobs without fear or favor, and protect these witnesses. 🇿🇦
