@halsonissen I hear ya. I tried those before and they were great for light trail hiking, but they killed my feet doing things like grocery shopping.
These are clip-ins for pedals. They keep your feet attached and positioned for maximum movement.
@halsonissen I've struggled for years to find a "good" pair of walking-around shoes.
The only ones that work, and work well, are my clip-ins for MTB. Obviously, they're very specific, but don't leave me feeling worn out or anything outside of what hitting a trail does to you.
For future hikers of this trail: Make sure you have proper ankle support. Altama Maritime lows worked for me the last few times, but I wouldn't recommend 'em on this one. They're great in UT, though.
8 miles and 2000' gain and descended.
I did Frenchman Mountain trail, at least, 4 times a year. Sadly, this was the last time. One of my favorite trails in town. Kinda gonna miss Dutch, too.

I should be live streaming this. Any% speedrun banned from every platform. This isn't even a brake job. It's fixing my shit after getting new tires put on and them fucking everything else up. Cunts.
Back of my arms got sunburnt during my trip. Burns are peeling, skin is flaky (with or without lotion.)
Told "Your tattoo is intriguing, and I'd ask about it, but you clearly don't take good care of yourself."
Well, my neapolitan-ass arms are a dead giveaway, dumbass.
