Kevin Kastens

Once scouts finally noticed my natural 22.5 stride back in high school, I knew my destiny was etched in stone

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

I do miss the adrenaline rush of a one week show however

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Retirement is treating me well btw

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

It’s my favorite month once again: March! #fwrdmrch #GoHawks #notaleapyear

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Feels weird not to be sitting in the “War Room” next to Gary Barta on Bowl Selection Sunday with five different itineraries drafted up

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

I wonder if they’re looking for marching band director experience. Btw stranger things is what I used to call the sousaphone section https://t.co/WAIQsncdwm

Feeling empty inside

It’s my favorite month again: March! #GoHawks

I had something really special planned for halftime that the world will never see. https://t.co/uaaVroc0rm

[MarkEmmert @MarkEmmert]

Iowa marching band will be performing the national anthem tomorrow; BC marching band is the halftime entertainment

Brass players: don’t forget to use vodka instead of water to lube those horns today! #cold #PinstripeBowl2017 #GoHawks #RetiringAtYankeeStadium

Iowa’s Hawkeye Marching Band brings it every Saturday #Hawkeyes https://t.co/iGpNDoc5IQ

Gehrig, Jeter, Kastens. The list goes on. Honored to be among the greats that have retired at Yankee Stadium.

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Might blow the budget on some pinstripe HMB uniforms. After all, 2018 budget is not my concern

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Good thing the refs didn't watch Pregame yesterday! They would've had to penalize the entire HMB for high stepping into the end zone!

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Watching marching band film in my den. Night game on ABC, so I'll be burning the midnight oil a lot this week. HMB must impress the nation.

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Don't worry, I'll still give you and everyone else an "A" this semester. https://t.co/u9MClAZHln

[Chris Jorgensen @TheChrisJorg]

This member of the Iowa band just did the entire routine with a fake flute

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Sorry not in the budget https://t.co/je5RjsSOcG

[Mark Murphy @mj_murphy]

ISU Marching Band playing at tonight's game. Iowa marching band no where to be seen.

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

Please be responsible tonight. Don't FAC for too long. In bed within an hour or two. The curvelinears of the tigerhawk must be on point.

[The Iowa Hawkeyes @TheIowaHawkeyes]

The award-winning @_TheBoom will perform their traditional pre-game Rec. Building show starting one hour and 15 minutes before kick-off!

[Kevin Kastens @Not_LKK]

We needed a bop for when the score is 17-38. https://t.co/0XL6WVpEsy

[Scott Dochterman @ScottDochterman]

Happy Independence Day everyone!
