Three reasons why you shouldn’t worry so much about what others think of you:
1. It’s not good for your mental health.
2. People aren’t judging you as much as you think.
3. Even if they are judging you, their opinions may not matter. You can ignore them and still be happy.

When putting your trust in a coach or boxing gym look for the red flags.
Do they
over promise?🚩
have legit qualifications?🚩
keep you informed?🚩
Do events repeatedly fall through or never materialize?🚩
What’s their record at sanctioned events?🚩
When choosing a good boxing club make sure they’re practicing good safety protocols. You should be given paperwork before you sign up. Is the facility clean? Are the coaches trained/certified?
Your health/safety comes first.

What is your coach/trainer doing to develop your skills. Are you being advised of all the opportunities available in your age/category?

As an athlete you must be prepared for different outcomes, be exposed to stronger more skilled opponents in order to develop and grow.
