@Tinfoil_Truther The Witch is brilliant, but falsely advertised. It is a spot on depiction of what NE puritans believed about witches, evil lurking in the woods, wickedness in children, and the vulnerabilities of living outside their church and community. It’s a culture film, not horror.

@CoreyJMahler - Without a clean sweep, it’ll be a recurring problem down the road. Everyone, or most everyone, being on board would probably make it all easier and faster, too. The invaders would know that falling back to Slovenia isn’t doing them any good. They should feel like it’s escaping.

@DefiantBaptist Is the fixation on discipline by elders something new or a reformed thing? I was SB into adulthood, in Dixie, and I don’t think I ever heard it discussed. I’m sure if a case of adultery was discovered, there would be private talks, but it just wasn’t something on anyone’s radar.
