"I got bored of k*lling them, so I disarmed them" - Léo Major 🥶
I subtitled this 1995 interview of Léo Major where he tells the Zwolle story so my Anglo countrymen can enjoy one more hero.
He was also at Juno beach on June 6th 1944
Je me souviens⚜️🇨🇦
@LordIxabert All cultural markers relevant are from French-canadians. The only Anglo-canadian identity worth keeping was the British one, now long gone.
The Royals have been modified by centuries of international alliances. Consequently, they scarcely resemble thier own ancestors.
By contrast, we Petty Noblemen——as we are officially styled——still look like the kings & queens of Mediaeval & Renaissance courts.
@HomericFuturist Very interesting topic. Even founding stock New englanders have different lineages. A mix of bloodline of Norman, anglo-saxon, scottish and celtic spread around the regions of the british isles. They then made different colonial ventures and settled the North american continent.
@Peter_Nimitz I see your point. "La revenge des berceaux" was the efforts of the french remaining ruling class, the Catholic Church, to overwhelm demographically the British ruling merchant class after the conquest. There is case for doubt tho as I think N-F was already a distinct society.
@Peter_Nimitz Is the liberal party most to blame for this? Is there a share of chinese infiltration among the conservatives? Do you think this increase in chinese cooperation will further drive separatism?
