@FWI_Warrior @DelusionPosting wasn’t the whole intestine, was a little part of it. There’s a chance you’re born with a little fat nub on the intestine and it has a random chance of twisting. It was about a 9 on the pain scale, but it resolves itself after a couple days. They thought it was testicular torsion

So the likeliness to commit the crime is reward of doing it minus the cost of getting caught. Some people are twisted and desire such things, so the crime exists

@mintymoongeist @ShitpostRock As well, if a communist states were to abolish police (which I’ve never seen before), the role of law enforcement would go to the state itself. Private military or government violence is far worse than any local or municipal police department could conjure.

One is that the only motivation for crime is the competitive nature of life. This simply isn’t true, as the motivation to do crime is the reward of completing it sub the cost of getting caught. This is why even in communism there is still crime.
