Lean On Me
Hi Avery!
I want to talk to you about the song Lean On Me.
Earlier this week, I was feeling bad. I have been feeling stress about a lot of different things.
I spoke with my friend, Mark. He is a great listener and a great friend. I felt so much better after speaking with Mark. I felt physically lighter in my body.
About 5 minutes after the call, my mind remembered the song “Lean On Me”. It is remarkable how our minds will think of songs we might need to hear in the moment.
The song Lean On Me is all about friendship, helping others when they are feeling down and knowing that they’ll be there for you when you need help with something.
Friendship is about giving as well as receiving. I hope you develop great friendships as you grow up, just like me and Mark.
I love you!
Love,
Dad

Allwyn
Hi Avery!
I want to talk to you about Allwyn.
Allwyn is a friend of mine from jiu-jitsu who recently participated in a tournament. What makes his story worth sharing is the journey he took to get there.
When Allwyn began training for the competition, his weight was around 230 pounds. Before the tournament, he committed to eating healthier and exercising. He worked with Justin to come up with a diet and exercise plan and stuck with it even if it was not always fun or easy. He was always in the gym before the 6 AM class started, working out by riding the fan bike.
On the day of the competition, he weighed in at 183 pounds, having lost almost 50 pounds and transforming his physique in the process. To witness his transformation up close was remarkable.
Throughout his preparation, he kept a great attitude, encouraged others to train with him and diligently worked to improve his skills on the mat.
At the tournament, Allwyn didn’t win as many matches as he would have liked. However, life is not about how much you win or lose, it is about living the right way, lovingly challenging yourself and earning your own self-respect in the process.
A man who chooses to challenge himself, do hard things, undertake the daily discipline to prepare himself and actually set foot in the arena cannot ever be defeated.
By competing, Allwyn set a good example for himself, his family and our entire gym. I am proud of him and all of his good work. I am grateful to share his story with you.
I love you!
Love,
Dad

My Father’s Aura
Hi Avery!
I want to talk to you about my father’s aura.
One of my earliest childhood memories of my father was in the first house I grew up in.
My Dad was carrying a briefcase, he wore a suit and had on a nice trench coat. He looked so professional.
I remember seeing him and thinking how sharp he looked and how smart he was.
My Dad worked full-time and took an extra work when the opportunity presented itself.
I am now older than he was when I think of him.
Despite that, no matter how old my Dad or I get, he’ll always be that smart and masculine guy I was so proud of.
Like him, I hope I bring out the best in you.
I love you!
Love,
Dad

Other People’s Plates
Hi Avery!
I want to talk to you about looking at other people’s plates.
We’ve all been given certain strengths and weaknesses when we’re born. It’s like being served a plate of food.
Other people might get more food served on their plates than we do. They might even have better tasting or better looking food than us.
If we are focused on other people’s plates, we don’t appreciate the good food we have been given. When looking at what others have that we don’t, we miss out on feeling gratitude for our blessings.
We are blessed with safety, great health and many other fine things others wish they had. Let’s be grateful for the abundance on our plate and remember how lucky we are!
I love you!
Love,
Dad

@Tiggersdad2@Croesus_BTC If regulators are upset about it, they should have stopped him 1 year ago, when he initially launched and marketed it. The only reason people have a problem is because it is down just like everything else associated with Bitcoin
"sort of like a high-yield savings account", "like a money market"
The word "like" acts a qualifier
Have you even seen a commercial in your life? Do you understand that ads/promotion are not meant to be taken 100% seriously at face value? They literally have a mechanism to raise the yield if the price falters implying they understand there’ll be variation in price
