A woman fatally stabbed in New York City’s Times Square has been identified as 32-year-old Erin Piacenti, a vice president at Bank of America.

Police say Piacenti was stabbed in the abdomen after suspect Pamela Cisneros allegedly pulled out two knives and attacked her and a 68-year-old man.

Piacenti was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The man was also stabbed in the abdomen and remains in stable condition.

Police say the attacks appeared to be random and unprovoked. Officers shot Cisneros after Tasers failed to stop her from advancing toward them with knives.
