Yes non Muslims are banned from Mecca. It is our holiest place and it is only for the worship of God in the way He ordained.

Perhaps if Christians had confidence in their religion they would also ban non Christians from their sacred places, such as the Vatican or certain churches. And I would have no issue with that.
