Is anyone else ever genuinely shocked when you find out you have an impact on someone's life? A coworker can be like "I've missed seeing you" and I'm just like "???? you?? missed me????? My presence has an effect on your daily experience???? i affect things??? What???"
the issue with growing up in the 2000s and 2010s was like there was this really big push toward "accepting your weirdness" overall but they meant like idk wearing mismatched socks or something not being tangibly beyond the norm in any way shape or form
@superfeyn I personally think the soul is linked to one's humanity. Things like creativity and emotions. That is why the Tau can survive with such a small one, because their society already cripples both without eradicating them fully. This is also why chaos influence is so strong on eldar
I always get confused as hell about what a soul means in 40k
To Necrons, many think it's important and wish to regain it. They became stagnant without it.
But to the Tau, it seems having a small soul doesn't really affect them much other than having a weak Warp connection.
@NoNonsenseND Well, at least you live in a place where diagnosis is possible. There are like two places in my city that diagnose adults, and both have been ignoring my calls.
@Livid_Star_IRL And because even my mother said she always thought I was autistic, she just "didn't want me to believe I was". So yeah. Either I am indeed autistic or things will get really ugly.
@Livid_Star_IRL In my case as someone without a diagnosis, It is because I have spent all my formative years living as a pariah and learning to cosplay a human being. It is just until recently that my therapist suggested a diagnosis that I started to connect the dots. I want answers.
@Angglio Genghis Khan? The dude who singlehandedly built the largest empire in history and killed enough people to reverse climate change? Id argue he is worse.
@ClericKnight Bro, my neighbor Pablo and his crew would have built this on a week without modern technology and in exchange of a simple 2 liter coke and some egg sandwiches.
@PulpCovers Because it is a business. No matter what or how good you are at your art, the shareholders think with their little reptile brains that following trends will make money.
