@Sentientcake@JS3Sanchezz I guess if you like reality TV drama disguised as basketball, played at an inferior level, with more manufactured storylines than actual basketball, I can see why you’d call it fun. It’s basically sports for people who want a little basketball between episodes of Real Housewives.
@TylerCLaRocca He’s saying with Mykel and Bosa. Of course it’s not great missing 3 expected starters. Would love to see them add more, but having those guys would definitely make a major difference.
@TylerCLaRocca And the Bills probably wished they could’ve got Baker Mayfield over Allen as a rookie 🤣 At least wait until chapter two before claiming you read the book. CJ Stroud was being crowned as a Rookie, Egbuka was the next big thing last year. Stribling rolling up coming into the szn.
@JKBOGEN Dark Knight, Truman, Spider-Man, Star Wars in the 9? legit. But Groundhog Day, Halloween, Emperor’s New Groove and Dragon Ball Z misshaped you 🤣
@JNay_LSS@richjmadrid_ For example - There’s absolutely zero chance you’d say trade Herbert to the Browns so you can bring in Sanders in hopes you can get 85% of his production. Instead you’d be saying you don’t trade a franchise QB for hope and prayer.
@JNay_LSS@richjmadrid_ Genuinely curious why the standard is different. Why can Herbert have a few stinkers against good defenses and it doesn’t change the overall evaluation, while Purdy can put up great numbers but have one bad game vs. Seattle and suddenly the numbers don’t matter?

What am I missing
@JNay_LSS@richjmadrid_ I think the part people get hung up on is the standard being applied. With Herbert, it feels like he can have some mediocre games and you still believe in what he is. With Purdy, it’s often “let’s see him do it against a good defense first.”
