It may look as though the black man is communal minded, but search closely what his interpretation means and it narrows down to his own family. Sometimes narrows down to his very own belly not even his family lol.
Search closely and you’ll understand why a black man rather be in misery together than allow something that would elevate the community or persons.(Maybe this is why we think we’re commubal) The burials, The collective failure, mediocre hmmm.
That’s one the reasons , an African leader would drive the most expensive car into his home untarred and without light.
Whatever is beneficial to both the black man and his community, he doesn’t like.
You have a right to be foolish, I wouldn’t judge you for that. I have been foolish long enough to learn not to condemn the fool. But you have no right to be evil, and to support a continuation of Nigeria in its current form, is to be complicit in the evil that it is..
In the world of choices and consequences.
There are at least 4 categories of people
- The farsighted, able to see the consequences and outcomes way before time, before everyone catches on.
- The quick learners, missed it but course quickly and recover
- The foolish loyalists, loyal to their sentiments, ideology, even when consequences stare them in the face.
- The unaware - The worst genre fr! Lost! Foolish! Just wast of space. They don’t even know when they’ve made a wrong choice
my parents are pastors in RCCG so this gaslighting from their pr arm is very laughable. when Osigbanjo was about to enter, the number of sermons about “the righteous being in power” by their political arm were crazy and subtly bolstering confidence in the Buhari candidacy
Paul Adefarasin really told his congregation that Saul must come before David.
Before this, he preached about plan B like other Christians can afford plan B.
That statement pissed me off real bad because it’s okay to fight for “The Experience” to still get hosted in Lagos but don’t rope the whole Christians in Nigeria to what you stand to gain from the government.
Nigerian Pastors should start speaking for themselves alone especially when they know that speaking up will make the government suddenly discover oil in their church lands. (They are humans like us and will always speak where they stand to gain from and protect what they have).
This we can understand.
But please, don’t sell Christians out by saying things incoherent with the Bible.
