This could be my worst take ever, but I’d rather not trade for Luis Robert. If healthy, very talented and could be a success obv. But I’m worried how the low walk % and high strikeout % will play in the playoffs.
Storylines:
- Rojas comes up in June and hits enough to keep CF
- Marsh and Stott win gold gloves, Rojas misses due to lack of innings
- Schwarber goes down in lineup to try to protect Bryce more until RH help comes
Storylines:
- Struggle to have a RH hitter protect Bryce until trade deadline. Run into DH problem as they try to get J.T. more rest
- Alvarado settles into the closer role in the summer and finishes with 28 saves
- Record 89-73 . 2nd in division but of course WS champs.
Prediction ERA for starters:
Wheeler - 3.46
Nola - 3.60
Ranger - 2.98 with about 140 innings
Walker - 4.30
Sanchez - 3.70
Nola and Wheeler eat innings to make up for IL stints elsewhere
