@CMShehbaz You were dragged into a Saudi-Yemen war by this man. There is not even a single hair of shame on this person’s body, and you nominating him publicly says alot about you.
🇵🇰 Pakistan Denies Report Its Fighter Jets Have Joined Saudi War on Yemen
Pakistani fighter jets are being used in Saudi-led airstrikes against Yemen’s Ansarallah movement, a senior Pakistani military official told the New York Times on condition of anonymity.
A second Pakistani official said Islamabad’s role would focus on air support against Ansarallah’s missile and drone capabilities, rather than ground operations inside Yemen.
Pakistan’s Information Ministry subsequently denied the report, calling it “fake and fabricated.”
Reuters reports that roughly 8,000 Pakistani troops were already deployed in Saudi Arabia by May, with additional forces now being mobilized under a defense pact with Saudi Arabia and Turkey. In 2015, Pakistan’s parliament voted against joining the Saudi-led war in Yemen.
@iihtishamm One thing you have to give props to the government for… is that they are not underestimating the situation thus preventing another Babrra massacre.
🇵🇰 In 2015, when Saudi Arabia asked Pakistan for troops, warplanes and warships for its war in Yemen, Pakistan's parliament debated the request for days and unanimously voted to stay neutral, amid broad public opposition.
On Monday, Pakistan agreed to "rapid deployment" of forces to Saudi Arabia under the Makkah defense pact, as fighting with Ansar Allah escalates. No parliamentary debate or vote on the deployment has been reported.
Since 2015, power in Pakistan has shifted sharply toward the military. Army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir was made Chief of Defense Forces and given lifetime legal immunity under a 2025 constitutional amendment, while former Prime Minister Imran Khan, overwhelmingly the most popular figure in the country, remains in prison.
@brief_pk@SohailAfridiISF you should also keep this as one of your top highlights to gain general popularity mobilisation. If long march fails, kp loses its minerals to the west via military regime.
