The risk in running a stop sign or red light is individual on a bike.

don’t really see anyone talking about this but: arrestees at CUNY were charged with *felonies* while arrestees at Columbia were charged with misdemeanors. nobody should be charged with anything but it is a travesty that poorer & racialized students bear the brunt of this struggle

I LOVE @CicLAvia and there are tons of benefits as a stand-alone event, but if we want it to change people’s behaviors it should be monthly (weekly in summer?) on the same route. Give locals opportunity to get bikes, adjust, make plans, etc. Melrose Ave would be a great one.
