There are several organisations within Nottinghamshire who can help if you are a victim of domestic abuse, and if you're in immediate danger, always call 999.
⚽Ahead of England's fourth World Cup group game this evening, we know that this is a time of excitement within our communities.
It's also a time of fear. Domestic abuse spikes during men's football tournaments, and reports of incidents increase by 38% when England play.
While football doesn’t cause domestic abuse, we know that existing abuse can become more severe or frequent during major tournaments.
As a White Ribbon Accredited organisation, Notts OPCC is dedicated to ending violence against women and girls.
📢 Police and Crime Commissioner Gary Godden and Deputy PCC @AngelaKandola explain how Raneem's Law will help victims of domestic abuse in Notts.
