@reereeroi I will also say it's not necessary to play 2 before inquisition but it does add a lot of context. The player character from 2 even shows up at one point. The legacy DLC is especially story important.

@reereeroi The sequels are fine games but they never measured up to the original. It's clear they went in the direction of action adventure with rpg elements. You never get the same deep compelling story or deep characters. That's especially true of Veilguard,The story feels like bad fanfic
