Honestly every year I get bombarded with questions asking if I’m going to the National…

…and then the videos and influencer content I see coming out of the National makes me happy I say no every year.

99% of all the content I’ve seen is this douchebag, clout chasing, zero self awareness garbage that is made with no purpose other than to elevate the “influencers” creating it and not the hobby or the cards.

Put the cameras down. Talk to some collectors who don’t have thousands of followers on social media. Appreciate the history of the hobby through the cards in that convention and stop being self righteous pricks who think the hobby runs through you. It does not. 99% of you don’t connect with anyone in this industry other than your fellow wannabe influencers who all think having 20k followers makes you some sort of industry celebrity.

Tom Brady is a celebrity. You buy his cards. Nobody buys your cards. Hell, nobody even uses your affiliate link for Whatnot or Arena Club.

Happy to say I went to the five Nationals before it became an influencer circus.
