It was a Christian therapist named Mary Lou who spoke these eternal words to me, a Jew:
"In Christ Jesus you are forgiven."
When she said those words, electricity surged through my body. I trembled, wept, screamed and cried.
In that moment, everything became clear. I knew who God was, who Messiah was, and who I was in Him.
I was still a Jew.
But now I was a Jew that was saved.
I found the Messiah of whom Moses and the prophets spoke.
Yeshua became my Lord and Savior, and my life was never the same again.
Science says we need 4 basic elements to survive:
• Food, Water, Air, Light
Now here's what Jesus says:
• I am the Bread of life
• I am the living Water
• I am the Breath of life
• I am the Light of the world
Science is right. We all need Jesus.
My greatest grief is not merely that I have sinned against God, but that I have loved Him so little. His mercies have been without measure, yet my affections have been without proportion.
If my heart loved Christ as His infinite worth deserves, obedience would be my delight, prayer my breath, and holiness my joy. Instead, I so often find my heart cold and my affections wandering.
Lord, I grieve not only because I have offended You, but because I have loved You so poorly. You have never ceased to be faithful; only my heart has failed to answer Your love as it ought.
O that I might love Christ more, for every sin is, at its root, a failure to treasure Him as He deserves.
THREE BABIES SURRENDERED IN ONE WEEK TO SAFE HAVEN BOXES.
A newborn was dropped off Monday at the Woodlands Fire Department box in Texas. Firefighters got the silent alarm and had the baby safe in minutes.
This makes three in just seven days across the program.
Mothers in crisis chose life instead of dumping babies in trash or leaving them to die. The boxes are temperature controlled. They protect anonymity. First responders' step in fast.
Monica Kelsey built this after her own story of being abandoned. Over 60 babies saved since they started.
In a world full of bad choices this is one system actually working.
This is a much better option than aborting an innocent child. I am glad they exist.

@DrMargaretShow 💯% hospitals worldwide were k1ll1ng fields, they knew!
Dad was weak. They said ‘can’t do anymore for him’. Left him to die. Mum was stronger, they Remdesevired her. Denied her IVM. I asked, she asked. Docs: ‘IVM isn’t protocol, no proof it works’. I lost both in 1 week💔 in 🇦🇺
Paul is on a roll in Romans 8. He's adding up all the things that can separate you from the love of God in Jesus Christ.
And the total? Nothing, zilch, zero. Not death, not life, not anything in all this vast creation where good and evil coexist.
This is the math of mercy. God's nothing.
But still we continue the list.
•What about my deepest, darkest, most shameful act?
•What about the years I spat in heaven's face?
•What about the terrible things I've done to other people?
•What about all the ways I've led others into iniquity?
•What about this, what about that?
Write your list. Use up every drop of ink, cover every sheet of paper, go on and on and on with the innumerable screw-ups in your life.
When you've finally finished that exhaustive list of all the things that you think can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus, add them all up. Take that number and multiply it times God's zero.
All your sins x God's zero = zero.
This is the math of mercy. God's nothing. Your everything in Jesus Christ, who is bigger than your sin, more loving than your hate, more faithful than your infidelity.
“If Jesus was God, why did He cry?”
When I was Muslim, I used to smirk at the shortest verse in the Bible. A crying God? Weak.
“Jesus wept.” John 11:35. Two words. It should bring you to your knees.
Then I actually read WHERE He’s standing.
At the tomb of His friend Lazarus. And here’s the part that undoes me: He’s about to raise him. In sixty seconds He’ll shout that dead man back to life. The victory is already loaded.
And He weeps ANYWAY.
He didn’t have to. The happy ending was already in His hand.
But He looked at the grief around Him — the sisters, the mourners, the sheer wreckage that death makes of everything — and He entered it. He let it hit Him. God, with tears running down His face, at the graveside of someone He loved.
The God of Islam was too majestic to weep. I was proud of that. Until I met a God who was strong enough to.
“We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses.” Hebrews 4:15.
Whatever you’re burying right now — He’s not watching from a safe distance.
He’s the God who weeps at gravesides.
And then empties them.
Now you and me get to rejoice forever with our Lord Jesus Christ.
You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world.
And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK.
To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3.
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that?
Then I realized I was the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.
And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.”
He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself worthy of God.
Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy.
The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord.
@wearehappydoggo “Mr Rocky, that’s not how you drink the water!”💦🤣

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His nature, upholding the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.”
~Hebrews 1:3🕊
Many people want Jesus as a Savior but reject him as their Lord. They want to go to Heaven without ever turning away from their sins.
But true saving faith always leads to a lifestyle of repentance.
Another day has come and gone and God is still good. He is still faithful. He is still present.
And that is enough.
Good night and may God bless you all. I love you all.
God doesn't promise us an easy path free from suffering and trials. He promises that he will be with us through the fire and use it for our good.
Our temporary pain is preparing us for an eternal weight of glory.
@FightofFaith I’m not able to answer the ‘why’ thx to X’s character limits but as someone who’s lost both parents unexpectedly in a week, I’ve known grief and pain💔 and what I can say is: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalms 34:18🕊️👑🕊️
