I've decided to start reviewing the movies I watch on Letterboxd, mainly to keep track of what I've seen and want to see. I have three proper reviews up so far with more to come. Feel free to follow if you're interested.

@One_Supernova @KatyMontgomerie So you'll respect a drag queens preferred pronouns but not a trans woman's? You really do just hate trans people don't you?
@One_Supernova @KatyMontgomerie For one thing, drag queens use she/her pronouns in drag. For another, bashing on trans people isn't going to stop the conservatives from coming after you too.
@One_Supernova @KatyMontgomerie There's no way you don't understand this. You have to understand how utterly ridiculous it is to look at this person and call them a man, I simply don't believe you don't.
@HankRacette@JonWilsonAuthor@stephenwhittle You cannot tell me there is any scenario in which you would see this person on the street knowing nothing about them and refer to them as anything but "he" and "sir". I do not believe that for even a second.
@SamBarber1910@stephenwhittle You have to understand why it's ridiculous to see this person literally anywhere and insist that he's a woman, right? You cannot tell me that you would ever think this person was a woman if no one told he was trans. You're simply lying if you claim you could tell.
@LightShiner2@IoTheSC@stephenwhittle No words are based on sex. The definition of all words and in fact the "rules" of all of language as a whole are based on how people use words. Preferred pronouns became part of the English language when people started using them. That's just how language works.
@JimForTheWin3 @libanesthetist @Fignys1@FFRF So you're okay with books filled with sexual content being made available for children so long as they don't describe how to do it? Or is the Bible the only exception to these rules?
@Full_Arch@mehdirhasan What do you think millions of people and hundreds of thousands of pounds of fentanyl being stopped at the border means David? It is closed.
@mattxiv Honestly the schools hit with bomb threats because of her should file a class action lawsuit against her. Even that wouldn't make her stop though.
@PixelsnPolyg0ns@wond3rland909@mrpedrobraga Again, designing a game to play not a world to live in. NES and SNES cartridges were extremely limited for space so games in general had to include only things relevant to play. You really don't seem to understand what "well realized" means in game dev.
@PixelsnPolyg0ns@wond3rland909@mrpedrobraga You would be a terrible game designer with that attitude. The things you think matter would make a game frustrating and nigh unplayable. You're not designing a world to live in, you're designing a game for people to play. You can't have a million rooms that serve no purpose.
@KennyGoo@mrpedrobraga I think you're confusing "bad" with "I personally don't like this". The majority of people are fine with the yellow paint in RE4make and signposting like that improves the flow of gameplay for everyone. You'd complain just as much if interactables glowed for no reason anyway.
A lot of game devs are dunking on this, but if you're not a game dev it's probably not actually obvious why. So I thought I'd take a moment to answer a little more thoughtfully in hopes of giving gamers a little more insight on what we do.
