#nbasupercoach Week 2 Day 2 review:
Good: Luka, Acuff, Wemby, Tatum
All 4 of my players playing well today! Luka Wemby and Tatum great games as they all dominated.
Acuff very serviceable rookie score, just what I need from him!
Absolute injury carnage announced before today's games.
Ant out for 2 months is devastating after the start he's had. Not sure what this means for the rest of the Wolves yet, will have to see over the next couple of games.
Sengun is only day-to-day so should be fine for owners.
Kawhi and JJJ are less SC relevant but definite sells if you own.
As for other players from today's games, Reaves continued to be hyper efficient today and looks like a great trade in for those who did.
Walker Kessler was not as great. Still playing well but not like how he started.
Sabonis continued his great run of form, as did Harper.
Looking towards next week, I think SGA will be a must trade in.
Will have back to back 4 game weeks and a heavier offensive load with all their injuries.
How did everyone else's squads go today?
Toronto's Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss a period of weeks due to swelling in his left knee, sources tell ESPN. MRI on Leonard's knee showed no structural damage, but sides will use the shorter term to ramp him back up after the stoppages during the offseason.
@tekewhiffs Very good day! Even though sengun scored well i wouldn't doubt Tatum, was decent in a blowout so just have to hope the remaining 3 games aren't the same outcome.
#nbasupercoach Week 2 Day 1 review:
Good: Hali, Peterson, Maluach, Yaxel, Wilson, Giannis, Boozer
How good is this rookie crop man! They continue to show up night after night and today it was Yaxel leading the charge. Giannis and Hali scoring very well as well.
Ok: Tatum, Johnson
Tatum alright score in a blowout, hopefully the C's games can stay a bit closer. JJ shot poorly and didn't get his usual assist numbers, expect a bounce back.
Bad: Sasser
Wow what an awful pickup. Played 26 minutes a game in the first 3 to get a whopping 8 minutes today. Seems to have lost his spot to Walter Clayton who played very well.
Fair to say my trades haven't been great after day 1. Only 3 players that didn't go in "good" were my trade ins, and Brandon Miller drops a 40 after I trade him.
Was always going to be a risk trading him on a 4 game week, just have to hope that Kon and White are back soon to take some of his shots away.
Flagg, Sengun and Ant have been incredible premo picks so far so well done to those who have them.
Lauri and JJJ went down so look out for injury updates on them.
How did everyone else go to start Week 2?
#nbasupercoach Week 1 Trades:
These are my trades for the first lockout lift of the year.
Sharpe and Miller bad reads for mid pricers. They simply aren't getting enough opportunity or not making enough of it. Getting rid of them to get a premo and rookie in.
Maxey was always a one week play for me as well. Still think hes fine to hold as he's a genuine premo but he's my guy to make way for Jalen Johnson.
Jalen Johnson is a no brainer for me. Has everything ran through him on offence, and has two 4 game weeks ahead. Easy premo pick.
Tatum is similar. Clear number one option with two 4 game weeks ahead. Should score very well as evidenced by his game vs the Knicks.
Sasser is my rookie pick for this week. Already have the must-have rookies, so I think he's next best. Getting 26 mpg so I think he has one of the best opportunities out of players that price. Also allows me to field Acuff which I'm totally fine with.
Hopefully can get a bounce back week next week. What trades are you all making ahead of Week 2?
@walshjeee Only move I'd 100% do is Mikel Brown to Sasser or a similar rookie priced option. Could also maximise schedule by getting giannis to a 4 gamer like Tatum or Donovan Mitchell but that's not a necessity.
